English for everyone …
… because learning is easy when it´s fun!
„We enjoyed the conversations between the ABCi-Teachers and us.“
„We always spoke English and got a lot better.“
„The teachers were very nice and helpful.“
„I think it was a very nice week because we had a lot of fun.“
„We played a lot of different games and learned many new useful words.“
Florian Hörbst, 3. Klasse:“ In our English week with the native speakers Brian, Hayden and Val we learnt English by playing games like swaping chairs : the girl/boy that stands in the middle has to make a statement like “swap chairs if you have brown eyes” so everyone that has brown eyes has to swap chairs. The girl/boy in the middle has to try to sit on a chair before somebody other sits on it. The boy/girl that can’t get a chair has to make the next statement.
We learnt to talk English fluently by singing songs like “Coca cola drove to town, Dr. Pepper pushed him down, diet Pepsi fix him up, now we all drink seven up“.
We played “Australian-football” in the gym with the rule no tackling and you have to shoot the football with the foot. It was a very cool time with the teachers because they were really funny.
My personal favourite thing during the English week was the song “I got loose”. My favourite teachers were Hayden and Brian.“
Auch für die 1. und 2. Klassen gab es einen Englisch – Schnuppertag.
